We have more than 150 dedicated volunteers giving their time and skills to help support our work. We couldn’t even begin to measure their value and impact.

We are looking for people all year round
We are looking for people who have a desire to help, are good listeners and have a heart for those in need.

Because we seek to build meaningful relationships with our guests, we do not accept volunteers just for Christmas and instead look for an all-year round commitment.

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, faiths and none.

Feedback following Khalsa Aid International Snowdon Hike 2019
“I wanted to send a quick message to thank the Langar Aid volunteers who were at the Snowdon hike.
This was my first KA hike and it occurred to me that whilst my friends and I, and over 500 others who took part, sweated away in the actual hike, there existed a network of organisation behind-the-screens in the run up to, and on the day of, the event.

It must have taken time and effort to arrange the coaches, disseminate the literature beforehand, provide information on parking, etc. and then to be on hand yesterday to assist with queries, take our photos on the finishing line as well as provide the very delicious langar.

Everything was seamless and came together like the most perfect tapestry so all we had to focus on was the hike with at least one common thought in mind – my goodness, this is blooming steep!

As my friends and I walked, I reflected on the footprints we were collectively leaving behind on Snowdon so that we can say in time to come that we too marked our service towards humanity.

This would not have been possible without the efforts from the team of amazing volunteers. So thank you all and congratulations on such a fantastic event.”
